I’ve been really quiet with my photography. Tried to not push it on anyone. Not be just a mini session photographer. I want to tell a story. I want my clients to look back on their pictures and remember why they chose the clothes they wore. Or what they were laughing at. Or maybe how they used to dance in the rain. I’m not picky haha. I just want them to feel something when they look at what I captured with my camera. Even Seniors. And their mamas and daddies and grannies. Look at me and smile in perfect light with the perfect backdrop is easy. There’s no personality in that though.
And a senior with as much personality as Annabeth needs for that to show through. It was a rainy, no sun kinda day. I almost rescheduled but we got some amazing moody, shadowy images that just made my photographers heart happy. I should also mention she drove 3 hours for me to photograph her. so there’s that. haha. It rained on us a little but Annabeth was a trooper and stuck it out. This gorgeous girl is used to being behind the camera..not in front. So getting her to relax and be a little vulnerable was challenging..but not impossible. I think once she danced a little it was easier to relax her shoulders 😉
We had a great time and I love her gallery. I’m booking Seniors. I’m not gonna be pushy because that’s not who I am. But you should let me take you pictures. Maybe there will even be some mini sessions in the future!
This is my first blog post and I’m willing to bet in a few weeks I’ll be trying to figure out how to edit all of this. But that’s ok. I gotta start somewhere
